Feuergarten German Shepherds is not run as a high volume breeding operation. We strive to showcase our dogs and display their abilities through the multiple venues in which we participate. We may provide 1-2 litters a year, at most.
Our goal is to produce well balanced dogs with exceptional drive and nerve strength to succeed in many sport or working venues, as well as stable health, temperament and character to become outstanding companions.
Our breeding dogs have been evaluated in accordance with proper health and temperament testing. They are trained for competition sport, and live in our house as our family companions. Our puppies are raised in a home environment and exposed to as many experiences as we can provide to ensure a well rounded puppy. They are introduced to foundation clicker training and rag play at 5 weeks. Before placement, puppies temperaments are tested for drive, focus and energy, to match each puppy with the needs of the individual new owners. Puppies will be microchipped and AKC registered by 8 weeks. We do not allow owner selection or "pick" puppies. We will not sell puppies based on color. All puppies are placed on limited registration that is eligible to be lifted to full registration once conditions are met.
Puppies are priced between $2500-$3000 and breedings will require a non-refundable $500 deposit due at the time of confirmation of pregnancy to reserve a puppy. We do provide discounts for LEO/Military.
All dogs and puppies from Feuergarten German Shepherds are sold with a basic contract and lifetime support by us.
We will welcome back any dog sold by us at any time, for any reason.
